PRODUCT REVIEW | The Halftime Show EP

This review post is a little different as it is about an EP from the band of a friend of mine called The Halftime Show - Hope, Loss and Everything Between (LINK TO FACEBOOK HERE). Now, I understand that their music might not be for everyone, but if you like music such as Me Vs Hero, Boys Like Girls, Blink-182 or New Found Glory like me then their music is for you! It is a generally rock/indie sound, though they would describe themselves as pop/punk with some added surprises.  Like most indie/rock music you can relate to the lyrics, my personal favourite for relatability is '8 Ways To Feel Inadequate'.

I honestly expect great things from this band, not only because I know one of the members and think they are wonderful, but because they have a genuine sound which is hard to find from a boyband in this genre. I don't know what to say other than even if it isn't your taste in music, listen to them and I can guarantee you will like them. They have a fresh, new sound with lyrics you get stuck in your head and an EP which is wonderfully mastered and is as professional as any current artist. I am not doing this as a favour for anyone nor because I was asked too, I am doing this because I think this band genuinely deserves to have a big break, not just because their sounds are amazing, but because the people in the band are amazing too.

I don't have anything more to say than GO AND CHECK THEM OUT!
