ME | Catch up, hashtags and the Christmas period begins!

Such a long title for something very simple in a post, but it sounded catchy so I went with it!

Hello!! It has been a while, I am sorry for that! Things have been busy and it has been difficult for me to find the time to blog! I should really start taking my laptop with me to Ben's but it is heavy and I already have a lot to carry! But anyhow! How are you all? I hope you are all fabulous! I thought I would do tonight's post as a small catch up on everything that has been going on, including my #projectquilt project and some pay day purchases (which I slightly regret now as I am poor!)

Wow, it has been a long couple of weeks. School's are back now, friends are going off to university and my siblings turn 7 and 16 this month! It is crazy to think the summer is over, only a year ago I was posting about what I wanted to get before going back to school (which people have been reading a lot recently which surprises me!) and getting ready to face my final year of the IB. Now I sit here, a year on, not knowing where to go from here and struggling with my feelings and emotions more. I am not ashamed of them, so I shall tell you what is going on. I am currently seeing a psychiatrist who believes I have depression and SAD (social anxiety disorder). That is tough to come to terms with, but I have not resorted back to my old self-punishing ways which is a positive, it is just dealing with everything that has happened, everything that is happening and everything that will happen. However, in all of this, I have Ben and my friends to keep me grounded and keep me sane so I am very thankful for that.

Now that the 'grim' stuff is over I shall continue! On the hashtags note, #projectquilt is becoming very popular on my IG as a lot of people are liking the pictures and liking the idea! I am getting quicker at doing the squares and have done 4 so far! I now only do them when I am watching something, like Heroes or BINTM whilst at Ben's and he is at work, or when I am on Netflix at home as it keeps my mind busy instead of just simply watching something! I cannot wait to make more and more and more and build it all up! The squares look so mismatched together but I don't mind that, I think it makes it unique. I have decided to do a couple of plain squares for now, and then I will start doing stripes and patterns! I am so excited to see where this new skill will take me and what I will be able to do with it!

A new hashtag I have started (and do not hate me, I know it is only JUST September, but when it comes to Christmas I should have started planning a month ago!) and it is #christmasshopping. It seems ridiculous and I know a lot of people will be using it, but every time I get something for Christmas or find a good deal for Christmas presents I shall be posting in that hashtag! At the moment I only have Siona's (Ben's mum) present sorted, bought and wrapped (I will post the pictures here) so I cannot wait to start getting more and building up a stock pile for when Christmas finally does hit! After all, it is only 108 days!

This pay day was not a significant one as I have 2 family birthdays this month, paying people back and general expenses. As I am sure I have probably said before I hope to be working more full time come the next few weeks, but I am looking for a new job. I would rather be working full time in a place that I enjoy rather at Clintons, but if that is where I have to be so be it. However I did get a few things, and I did get given a few things too by my wonderful boyfriend! He got me ANOTHER new Pandora charm, all three seasons of Heroes and some amazing Superman headphones! I got myself 6 balls of wool, 4 books (BOGOHP but I took 2 back), 2 sets of knitting needles, Maybelline FITME powder in 120 and some new liquid eyeliner from Collection.

On another note...my hair. I have been struggling for a while with my hair. It is currently in very good condition considering everything it has been through, so I am wondering whether I should go blonde now or wait until my hair is longer. I really would like to be blonde again, I miss it a lot, but I want my hair to grow and be as long as it was (or longer!) I do not want to be platinum like I used to be, I want to be a duller blonde, like a light honey colour, as that is my natural colour and when my roots come out it will blend in a lot nicer. What do you guys think? What should I do?

I hope you guys are all fabby and had a great summer holiday. If you are going back to school, good luck! If you are off to university, I envy you greatly but have a fantastic time! If you, like me, are staying here and working, then welcome to the club, we should get t-shirts. If you are none of the above...well, good luck to you anyways!

See you soon!
