BIRCHBOX | may and june 2014

so i am so super excited to have signed up to this! i have wanted to do something like this for a while, but haven't been able to afford it, and i can't really at the moment, but with something like this it doesn't matter that it is like £12, what you get out of it is 1000000000 times better. as i knew it wouldn't be long until i got my june one when i received may, i decided to wait and do them together. both are so perfect i couldn't have asked for any better! i really wanted to do this as a video but i couldn't find the time to do it, but hopefully soon when i am working less i will be able to!

MAY...

as you can see my first months birch box was a Bazaar special and it was wonderful! I have only used the Soigne nail polish at the moment (for those who wonder it is in the shade pomegranate and it is THE ultimate red. russian red by mac is the ultimate red for lipstick and this is it for nails. i do not think i could find a dupe for this!) but yes, last month was fantastic, and this months is incredible too! i cannot wait to test everything and review it for you guys, it will be awesome! i think the thing i am most excited about to try i think is the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser as i have never used Liz Earle products before but have heard very good reviews! obviously i will be adding these products to my 'new' section in my makeup drawers!

JUNE...

ah...world cup time...when women are replaced by tv and beer and men become animals and have a strong desire to go to the pub! and can i just say for the record, i got japan and ivory coast in the screwfix sweep stake so i am not happy!! this months birch box was based on the world cup in brazil! everything was just so cute! the drawstring bag was green and yellow, the little green and yellow flip flop key ring, the booklet that always comes with them is all based on football beauty...its so good! this months is pretty incredible too and i cannot wait, again, to test them all out! i am very excited to have gotten an OPI varnish as this is one brand i would love to try but never have the money, so that is great, and i am very happy to have a new beauty blender...even though it has just shown me i need to clean my other one...oops! one thing i am already loving, and the box only arrived today, is the yves rouche lipstick in the shade 22 Corail Doux. it is a sheer lipstick, a very very sheer lipstick so you achieve an opaque style colour you do have to apply quite a bit, but the build up is amazing! you could wear this with any number of layers! i really want to find a matte equivalent to this colour as i think it will look great when i go blonde!

i hope you guys enjoyed your birch box's or you glossy box or whatever you got! have a good week! xoxo
