Lewis-Manning Charity Shop Re-Launch

i was lucky enough to be invited as a blogger to an event a few weeks ago, but unfortunately it fell on the same night as McBusted. i have been invited to another event for the same reason, and i really wanted to blog about the event so you guys can see what an amazing cause this is and so you guys can see what amazing things people do for charity.

this is Louise Croft (her blog is here) and she organised the event and is organising the new event for the Poole shop. they raised £600 and had an amazing time. over 200 people came, including bloggers and performers to get the atmosphere going!

just so you all know, Lewis-Manning Hospice in Poole offers free specialist nursing care for over 650 local people every year living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses and provides a warm, supportive and caring environment for local people. this is what the charity is. so it is an amazing cause, and these shop refurb and relaunches have really helped promote the great cause. i can't believe how much they raised for the charity! it sounds like everyone had a wonderful time and i cannot wait to go to the next one!

for entertainment, they had some local musicians perform - Capella, Not Made in China, Mother Ukers, Whitney Kate Fall, and Chris Rogers - and had a bucket list board, which looked like such an amazing idea! all the photos below were taken by Michael Foyle who has an amazing portfolio!

i am so happy to even be a small part in such an amazing cause, and i cannot wait to be able to help in the future and help raise money for this fantastic charity! well done to Louise for organising the event, and thank you to everyone who went and supported!
